Terms and Conditions – Viocars Rent a Car

Terms and conditions for car rentals in Iasi, Suceava and Bacau, directly from the airport, with full insurance and no hidden fees.

1. General information about the car rental service

Viocars provides professional car rental services in Iasi, Suceava and Bacau, with direct pickup from the airport or from other locations agreed in advance. Our fleet includes modern, well-maintained vehicles, suitable both for business trips and for tourism or family visits.

The rent a car service is available 7 days a week, and bookings can be made online, by phone or via WhatsApp. For extra convenience, we offer the option to rent without deposit or credit card for certain car categories, depending on the customer profile and rental history.

2. Viocars’s obligations

We are committed to providing fair, safe and transparent services to our customers. The company’s main obligations are:

  • To provide the customer with all information requested in order to book a vehicle.
  • To hand over vehicles that are in perfect working condition.
  • To present all vehicle documents (registration certificate with valid inspection, third-party liability insurance, vignette).
  • To explain the rental agreement provisions at the time of vehicle pickup.
  • To provide assistance and support to customers throughout the rental period.
  • To inform customers about any additional costs that may arise under the signed agreement.

3. Customer obligations

In order to rent a vehicle from Viocars, the customer must meet certain minimum conditions and respect the terms of the rental agreement:

  • Provide a valid identity document.
  • Be at least 25 years old.
  • Hold a European or international driving licence with a minimum validity of 2 years.
  • Provide a valid bank card to be used for payment of our services.
  • Provide our agents with the information required to complete the rental formalities.
  • Maintain a cooperative and respectful attitude in the interaction with our staff.

4. Bookings and vehicle pickup

Bookings can be made online via the form on our website, by phone or via WhatsApp. To confirm a booking, the customer must provide accurate information regarding:

  • Rental period (pickup / return date and time).
  • Pickup and return location or airport (Iasi, Suceava, Bacau).
  • Flight number (where applicable) and personal contact details.
  • Agreed payment method.

At vehicle pickup, the customer signs the rental agreement and the handover form, which specifies the vehicle condition, mileage, fuel level and any accessories provided.

5. Payment and guarantees

Rental fees can be paid by bank card or cash, depending on the policy applicable to the selected car category. For certain vehicles, a security deposit may be required, temporarily blocked on the card for the duration of the rental and released afterwards if no damage has occurred.

All rates are communicated transparently, with no hidden charges. Any additional costs (for example, for returns in a different location, cross-border travel or late return) are listed in the agreement and explained to the customer before signing.

6. Fuel policy and mileage

Vehicles are delivered with a certain fuel level and must be returned with the same level. Otherwise, a refuelling fee may be applied according to our internal tariff.

The mileage policy (unlimited or limited) is specified in the rental agreement. Exceeding the included mileage may generate additional charges, which are clearly displayed and communicated to the customer.

7. Additional services and accessories

On request, Viocars can provide child seats, snow chains, bike racks or pickup / return outside normal working hours. Some of these services may be free of charge, while others may involve extra costs, depending on availability and the type of request.

8. Vehicle return

The customer must respect the return time and location specified in the agreement. Late returns may generate additional costs, calculated according to the price grid communicated at the time of signing.

At return, a new handover form is completed, checking the vehicle condition, any damage, mileage and fuel level. Any discrepancies compared to the initial situation are discussed and settled on the spot, according to the contract.

9. Damage, accidents and technical failures

In case of an accident or technical failure, the customer must inform the company immediately and, where required, the competent authorities. Failure to comply with traffic rules or misuse of the vehicle may lead to the customer's liability and additional costs.

10. Privacy and data protection

Personal data collected by Viocars is used exclusively for processing bookings and executing rental agreements. Information is stored securely and is not shared with third parties without the customer's consent, except in situations required by law.
